An apartment is a collective residential building. Each household resides in its own private space, protected from the outside world. Just outside the front door is the first step into the world: the corridor. This is a space where the temperature of the air changes with the seasons. On the half-walls of that space, blankets are hung over. Some lean against the walls for a smoke. Others come out to water the plants. People returning home from work pass through. Glimpses of starting, living, and ending a day are scattered. On these regularly patterned structures, there exist diverse lives that cannot be defined in such a way.
These scenes accumulate in the camera. This project, which began as an extension of <광장>, assembles these scattered fragments in the same way. The patterns of life etched onto the uniformly constructed concrete blocks are revealed.
